Private violin lessons, at your doorstep.
The violin rewards patient, expert guidance from the very beginning. Our violin teachers come to your home and build every lesson around the student's age, level and goals — from young children holding a violin for the first time to adults fulfilling a lifelong ambition.
Good habits start at home. With a teacher beside them in their own space, students quickly develop correct posture, a beautiful tone and a practice routine that actually works.
Building a beautiful sound.
Our violin lessons develop solid technique and real musicianship, so students enjoy playing from the very first weeks.
Posture & bow hold
Holding the violin and bow correctly from day one, for a relaxed and healthy way of playing.
Tone production

More than lessons. A community. A stage. A love for music.
From first notes to Grade 8 and beyond.
Violin lessons follow a clear progression based on the ABRSM and Trinity College London syllabuses. Students can prepare for practical and theory exams, or simply learn for the joy of playing.
Many of our violin students have achieved Distinctions in their exams. Lesson length grows with the student: 30 minutes for young beginners, 45 minutes at intermediate level and 60 minutes for advanced players.
Beginner
Initial Grade to Grade 2. Posture, first bow strokes, simple tunes and reading music in 30-minute lessons.
Intermediate
Grades 3 to 5. Shifting positions, richer repertoire and theory, usually one or two 45-minute lessons a week.
Advanced
Grades 6 to 8 and beyond. Vibrato, advanced bowing, diplomas and interpretation in 60-minute lessons.
