Private one-to-one flute lessons for children and adults, from the very first notes to exam preparation — taught by a professional flutist in the comfort of your home. We come to you across Dubai.
Private flute lessons, at your doorstep.
The flute is one of the most expressive instruments to learn — and one of the most rewarding. Our flute lessons take place in your home, with a plan tailored to each student's age, level and musical goals.
Strong foundations from the first lesson. Breathing, embouchure and tone are best learned with a teacher right beside you, which is exactly what one-to-one lessons at home provide.
From first notes to a singing tone.
Our flute lessons build solid technique and musicianship, so students enjoy a beautiful sound from the very beginning.
Breathing & support
Breath control and support for long, even phrases and a steady sound.
Embouchure & tone
Forming the embouchure correctly to produce a clear, warm and focused tone.
Finger technique
Secure fingerings, scales and articulation for agile, accurate playing.
Reading & theory
Reading music fluently and understanding rhythm, keys and harmony.
Repertoire
Classical pieces, contemporary music and film themes chosen for each student.
Performance
Building confidence for exams, recitals and our student concerts.
Taught by a professional flutist.
Our flute lessons are led by Tomasz Jan Skrzypek, a classically trained flutist, singer, pianist and composer who has lived and taught in Dubai since 2013.
Every flute student is also part of the wider MJ Strings community — with concerts and performance opportunities throughout the year.
Tomasz Jan Skrzypek
Flutist · Singer · Composer

More than lessons. A community. A stage. A love for music.
From first notes to Grade 8.
Flute lessons follow a clear progression based on the ABRSM and Trinity College London syllabuses, so students can prepare for practical and theory exams — or simply play for the joy of it.
Exams are always optional. Lesson length is matched to age and level: 30 minutes for young beginners, 45 minutes at intermediate level and 60 minutes for advanced players.
Beginner
Initial Grade to Grade 2. First notes, breathing and simple melodies in 30-minute lessons.
Intermediate
Grades 3 to 5. Wider range, articulation and repertoire in 45-minute lessons.
Advanced
Grades 6 to 8 and beyond. Advanced technique, tone colour and interpretation in 60-minute lessons.
